Healthy Relationships with Self and Others: Social Understanding Gender and Sexuality (School Program)
Freshwater Creek Steiner School is working with the Healthy Relationships with Self and Others: Social Understanding Gender and Sexuality Program.

Eurythmy at Easter
Marilyn Myres is offering a set of three, group eurythmy sessions in the meditation space at Myocum for those participating in the Inner Work Path Easter online gatherings. To join this Eurythmy group you need to be enrolled in and participating live in the online gatherings with Lisa Romero.

All those who have participated in the above are welcome to come together again to hold a sacred space together on Good Friday at 3pm and Easter Sunday at sunrise. There is no charge for these two gatherings.
Professional Development - Healthy Relationships
Following the January course The Ground for Healthy Relationships: Addressing the New World of How We Relate, Melanie Deefholts will be speaking with the school faculty at Orana Steiner School on in regards to supporting the development of the child in today's world.

Healthy Relationships Professional Development for Class Teachers grades 4-8th

Part of the Healthy Relationships Program
This program highlights the growth and changes that occur during the years of classes 5 to 12. This includes puberty, sexuality, gender and the physical and emotional changes that go hand in hand over this time. The content is age-appropriate for each class. It aims to deepen the young person’s healthy relationship with themselves and encourages greater understanding, mutual respect, and compassion for the other members of their class and the school community.
Parent Meeting: Supporting Class 8
Melanie Deefholts will join with educators, parents and caregivers of Class 8 at Cape Byron Rudolf Steiner School to share the archetype pictures of development at this age and ways to support the individual needs of this class.

This program highlights the growth and changes that occur during the years of classes 5 to 11. This includes puberty, sexuality, gender and the physical and emotional changes that go hand in hand over this time. The content is age appropriate for each class. It aims to deepen the young person’s healthy relationship to themselves and encourages greater understanding, mutual respect and compassion for the other members of their class and the school community.
The information evenings for parents summarise what is brought to the students and look at ways to support them through these changes. We warmly invite all parents and guardians from the Shearwater school community to these meeting.
Sarah Mecca will meet with students in the 4th-5th and 6th grades at the Primrose Hill School.
